Membership Information

CVAE is a select ensemble of 28-30 voices. Professional-level vocal skill and musicianship are required.  All singers must make a strong personal commitment to our schedule and to our mission to present fine choral music at a high level of excellence. Individual practice and preparation outside rehearsals is required.

Regular rehearsals are every Tuesday from 7:15-9:45 p.m. August-May.  Extra rehearsals are scheduled in concert weeks, as needed.  Rehearsals in the summer are scheduled as performance opportunities arise.  Dress rehearsals are mandatory and are usually the day or evening before a performance.
